PURPOSE:To provide a lubricant for use in cutting, grinding, pressing, drawing, rust-proofing, etc., of the contact plane of rotary devices and equipment having movable parts, comprising acidic amino acid-omega-long chain amide carrying specific aliphatic alkyl group. CONSTITUTION:The objective lubricant comprising at least one kind of acidic amino acid-omega-long chain amide having 6-22C aliphatic alkyl group prepared by introducing hydrophobic amide group into alpha,omega-acidic amino acid such as glutamic acid or aspartic acid. The amount of this lubricant to be used is e.g. 0.1-100 (pref. 5-30)pts. by wt. per 100pts. by wt. of base oil. EFFECT:Capable of providing solid lubricants outstanding in smoothness, heat resistance, oxidation resistance, adhesivity to metal surface, etc., or high-pressure liquid lubricant or greases with high anti-sintering effect. |
