PURPOSE:To improve the appearance of the heat exchanger by forming a resin filling space within a tank part formed by a hollow extrusion molded material, pouring and filling said resin filling space with a resin to join the tank part to a tube and shielding the vicinity of the insertion end of the tube with a projection provided longitudinally on the tank part. CONSTITUTION:A tank part 5 is formed by an aluminum hollow extrusion molded material, and the intermediate part of an outer wall on the tube side is recessed inward to form a recessed wall 5b. On both sides of the recessed wall projected parts 5c and 5c consisting of curved parts of the outer wall are formed. Both ends of the tube 1 are inserted into insertion holes 9 of the recessed wall 5b and the partition wall 5d of each tank part 5, a side piece 4 is directed in a predetermined direction, and bothend insertion pieces 4d are inserted into insertion holes 14 to form a framework.Corrugated fins 2 are interposed therein to pnouide a temporarily assenbed state of a radiator. Consecutively, a fixing resin is poured into the resin filling space 7 of the tank part 5 through pouring hole 12 of an end plate 11. By these procedures, the connected part between the tank part and the tube part is not visible. |
