The invention relates to a steel-tubing trussed load-bearing member for scaffolding construction, having an upper chord, a lower chord arranged parallel thereto, and diagonal and vertical bars which are welded in between the upper chord and lower chord, the tubes forming the upper chord, the lower chord and the bars having the same external diameter. In the case of said load-bearing member, the arrangement is such that four outer bars, which form a rectangle, and one diagonal bar are provided, the outer bars being welded to one another via corner junctions and there being provided, at the corner junctions, butt-joint bolts for the connection of appropriate load-bearing members. <IMAGE>
