Shaft bearing arrangement

In a shaft bearing arrangement which comprises two taper rolling bearings preloaded axially or provided with a certain play, the inner races of which are seated on the shaft between stops connected to the latter, the intention is by simple means to ensure that the inner races are secured adequately on the shaft. This is achieved by the fact that one of the inner races (8) is a press fit while the other inner race (9) is a sliding fit on the shaft (10) and that both races (8, 9) engage in one another in a torsionally rigid fashion by end profiles (14, 15) which permit axial relative motions.
