A spring contact pin for making contact with test items to be tested, such as printed circuit boards or the like. It has a cylindrical element and a spring-loaded contact element. The cylindrical element has at least one flap which forms a stop for the quiescent position of the contact element, and the tube of the cylindrical element is bent from a stamped piece of sheet metal.
