PURPOSE:To prevent an outer ring from drifting within a boss bore in operation, by providing a plural number of extending staggered slits so as to fix the outer ring immovable into the boss bore. CONSTITUTION:Because a taper face 1a on the inside periphery of an outer ring 1 is forcibly pressed by peripheral taper face 4a of an inner ring 4, the inward part of an inside slit 2a is forced to expand to enlarge the inside periphery of the outer ring 1. Accordingly, a slit 2b on the peripheral side of the outer ring 1 is also forced to expand on the outward part to enlarge the diameter of the outer ring 1, and the periphery 1b thereon is pressed against the inside periphery of the boss bore H of a pulley P. At this moment, the outer ring 1 and the inner ring 4 press each other on taper faces 1a, 4a, and are fixed together immovably by a bolt 6a. Therefore, the pulley P and a shaft S are connected and fixed together without fear of detachment, through the intermediary of the outer ring 1 and the inner ring 4, and the outer ring 1 will not cause a drift within the boss bore in operation. |
