PURPOSE:To cope even with phenomenon varying momentarily by providing the time attribute to a fact and having collation between the fact varying momentarily and the conditional part of a rule group. CONSTITUTION:A group of facts having time attributes are collated with the conditional part of a group of rules and the rule executing part is carried out according to the rule application probability. This action is repeated until no fact to be collated exists any more. That is, a memory device 8 storing a group of facts is provided together with a memory device 9 storing a group of rules. For the group of facts, the time attribute is given to the fact so that a fact is shown as a time function. In the same way, the time attribute is also provided to the conditional part of the rule group. Thus this rule base device is applicable even to such a system where a fact varies momentarily. |
