PURPOSE:To make an economical and high-operability test possible by turning back the test in a facsimile equipment itself with a designated switch to confirm the reducing and transmitting function of the facsimile equipment provided with the original reducing and transmitting function. CONSTITUTION:When the original reducing and transmitting function is tested by turning-back the test in the equipment itself, a server depresses preliminarily a switch TSW for the indication of test turning-back and a switch STW which is provided for testing the original reducing and transmitting function at a test turning-back time. When TSW information is read by a test turning-back control circuit, a TST relay (which is not shown in Fig.) of a network control part is driven, and a turning-back route is formed with its contact tst contact and when SSW information is read by an original reducing control circuit, the reducing indication is issued to an encoding circuit. When an original is transmitted from a reading part in this state, a reduced recording picture turned back through the route of the encoding part, a modulating part, the contact tst, a demodulating part, a decoding part, and a recording part is obtained, and its contents are compared with the transmitted original to confirm the operation condition of the function. |
