PURPOSE:To ensure rust prevention for a door hemming part by inserting a rust preventive material of thermoplastic resin in between the door hemming part and the bead part of an inner panel, and liquidizing said material with heat in a painting process for ingress into a micro clearance. CONSTITUTION:A rust preventive material 'S' of thermoplastic resin such as polyethylene is laid along the outer side of a bead 14. In this case, the material 'S' is located in such a way that a portion opposite to the top of triangular section is at the side of a hemming part 'H', and aligned with the bead 14. And when temperature has reached 140 deg.C and more in the baking finish of a painting process, the material 'S' is liquidized and flows into the micro space of the hemming part 'H'. Consequently, a resin film is formed on both inner and outer panels 11 and 12, thereby shutting out the contact thereof with air and incoming rain drops, and ensuring excellent rust preventive effect.
