PURPOSE:To provide a temperature setting function capable of eliminating a disadvantage caused by an erroneous depressing time of a switch by a method wherein means for setting a set temperature to a maximum cooling temperature or a maximum heating temperature in response to a first state having a down- switch turned on under the turned-on condition of an up-switch and a second state having an up-switch turned-on under the turned-on condition of a down- switch is arranged. CONSTITUTION:To a micro-computer 9 are applied pieces of sensed information of a room temperature sensor 11, a surrounding atmosphere temperature sensor 12 and a sun-shining sensor 13 and a position signal of an air mixing door 5 through an analogue input circuit 10 and at the same time a set temperature information is given through a temperature setting unit 14. The temperature setting unit 14 has an up-switch 15 for increasing a set temperature and a down- switch 16 for decreasing a set temperature and under a condition (on) that either the up-switch 15 or the down-switch 16 is depressed, a H-level signal is applied to a corresponding port of a micro-computer 9 and in turn in case of a condition (off) that either one of the switches is not depressed, an L-level signal is applied.
