PURPOSE:To control the angle of the reflecting surface of a reflecting mirror without using any gear mechanism by providing moving members which couple with the reflecting mirror and move the reflecting mirror at a specific speed on both sides of a scanning track straight line, fitting a support arm to the reflecting mirror, and moving this support arm along a guide member. CONSTITUTION:When a motor 23 is driven, the moving members 14 and 15 move through wires 17, 18, and 16. Then, the reflecting mirror 6 moves while sliding on the linear guide member 9 provided on the scanning track straight line XX'. At this time, the support arm 10 fixed to the support member 8 of the reflecting mirror 6 slides on the guide member 12 and then the reflecting surface of the reflecting mirror 6 varies gradually in inclination as it moves in a scanning direction. Then, the reflecting mirror 6 is slid on the scanning track straight line XX' at a proper scanning speed so that no step-out state is caused on a reproduced image.
