PURPOSE:To improve the yield of a molten metal and to obtain stable quality in a large amt. by positioning a piston to the lowermost stage of mating dies and rising the piston to cast the molten metal into the mating dies while rotating the mating dies. CONSTITUTION:The molten metal poured into the hollow cylindrical part of mating dies 10 flows toward the inside wall of the dies from the top end of the piston 28 and is densely cast into the cavity through the aperture provided to the dies 10 by the centrifugual force generated by rotation of the dies 10. The piston 28 rises immediately the molten metal up to the aperture position of the dies 10 provided next by means of a cylinder rod 25 and therefore the molten metal is similarly cast into the cavity. The molten metal is successively cast to the uppermost stage of the cavity in the dies 10 by the rotation of the dies 10 and the rise of the piston 28 and thereafter the piston 28 descends down to the bottom end of the dies 10 as the cylinder rod descends. |
