PURPOSE:To enable a UV-cured ink film to be provided directly on a polypropylene sheet with favorable adhesion, by heating either one or both of a polypropylene sheet printed directly in a UV-curable printing ink and the film of the ink on the sheet. CONSTITUTION:Adhesion of a polypropylene sheet and a UV-cured ink film thereon is effected by heating either one or both of them. The heating may be carried out by heating the polypropylene sheet before printing in a UV-cuable ink and irradiating the ink film with UV rays, may be carried out during printing in the ink on the sheet, or may be carried out during or after irradiating the ink film with UV rays after printing. The heating is preferably conducted after printing. This heating is an operation of raising temperature, and the temperature to which the polypropylene sheet is heated is preferably not higher than 70 deg.C. When the printed UV-curable ink is heated, the UV-cured ink film can be provided directly on the polypropylene sheet with favorable adhesion. |
