PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of cracks in a packed glass part by making coefficients of linear expansion of a recording and reproducing core material and auxiliary members smaller than that of a packed glass material. CONSTITUTION:Coefficients of linear expansion of the R/W core material and auxiliary members are made smaller than that of the packed glass. In case of junction between a recording and reproducing core 1 and auxiliary members 7 and 8, it is necessary to raise the temperature whether a resin or a glass is used. If the coefficient of linear expansion of the packed glass material is larger than those of the recording and reproducing core material and auxiliary members, the recording and reproducing core material and auxiliary members are expanded less than the packed glass part during heating, and a compressive stress acts upon the packed glass part, and the packed glass part is hardly cracked.
