PURPOSE:To prevent the misdisplay of the number of used frames of a film in case of using a partially used film by displaying the number of frames to be used on a display part when a film is not used, yet, and in case of using a partially used film, stopping the display of the number of frames to be used. CONSTITUTION:The endoscope camera is provided with a display part 76 for displaying the number frames to be used of a film loaded to the camera, a means for detecting whether the film is an unused film or a partially used film and a means for displaying the number of frames to be used on the display part 76 in case of an unused film or stopping the display of the number of frames to be used in case of a partially used film. When the endoscope camera loaded with a film to which several frames of the film were used is unloaded from the eyepiece part of the endoscope once and then connected again, the flag of a memory is reset to '0', so that the number of frames to be used is not displayed. Consequently, the operator can confirm the use of the endoscope camera including a partially used film.
