<p>PURPOSE:To contrive low power consumption by making a sense amplifier, in which an input signal is not outputted, and an output circuit onto a non-action condition when an output bit is changed over. CONSTITUTION:A reading signal composed of plural bits is divided into a lower order bit and a higher order bit, and sense amplifiers S0-S7 and S8-S15 and output circuits TB0-TB7 and TB8-TB15 which correspond to respective bits and are divided into two sets are provided. At the time of the reading action of the low-order bit or the high-order bit, the output circuit corresponding to the high-order bit is made into the non-action condition and only the sense amplifier corresponding to the reading signal to be outputted in accordance with an output changing-over control signal and a special address signal is made into an action condition. Thus, the low power consumption can be executed.</p> |
