摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a master disk by sputtering an In target in a gaseous mixture contg. hydrocarbon and O2 to provide a thin recording film on a substrate and forming wire-shaped bublles for tracking and bubble trains for information recording on the film. CONSTITUTION:The In target is sputtered by using gaseous CH2+O2 to superpose the recording film 22 of about 80nm film thickness dispersed with In and org. matter in the In2O3 matrix on a glass plate 1. The recording film 22 is projected with an Ar laser beam to form the bubbles. The light beam power is made into two stages in this case so that the wire-shaped bubbles 33 for tracking having 1mum width and 60nm height are formed at a lower power by the continuous projection of the same power level and that the arrays of the bubble 4 for recording information having 1mum width and 100nm height of the largest part are formed by the projection of the pulse lasers corresponding to the information desired to be recorded at the high power adjacently to said bubbles. The signals for tracking and information recording are formed on the same master disk and the stamper for forming the resin substrate having high transfer efficiency is manufactured by the iteration of the above-mentioned operation.
