PURPOSE:To prevent the influence on ink jet operation due to the standing ink oozing from a nozzle, by a method wherein nozzle lines are separated and the lower part of the nozzle lines is made plane by establishing the groove part separating a nozzle fact at a position other than the lower part of plural nozzle lines. CONSTITUTION:In an ink jet head, nozzle lines 2a, 2b are separated by a groove part 2c on a nozzle face 2 and its lower part is not separated and constructed as a plane 2d. For instance, nozzle line plates 3, 5 are vertically joined by pressure pinching a spacer 4 between them. Thereafter, the nozzle face 2 having the groove part 2c due to a window part 40 is made to be obtained by working it by cutting or grinding so that the window part 40 of the spacer 4 may be exposed. Therefore, the thickness of the ink layer on a nozzle can be thinned and the influence on the ink jet operation of the nozzle due to oozing ink can be prevented. Besides, the effect that the title ink head can be realized without making the head large, is obtained. |
