PURPOSE:To enable a light and forcible opening of main and sub valves at all times irrespective of the magnitude of the hydraulic pressure in a hydraulic cylinder by providing a shaft penetrating through a sub valve seat and projecting to an open valve rod side in a sub valve. CONSTITUTION:A check valve is constructed with a main valve seat 109, a main valve 106, a sub valve seat 112 and a sub valve 107. A shaft 114 penetrating through the sub valve seat 112 and projecting to an open valve rod side so as to open the sub valve forcibly 107 prior to the main valve 106 is provided in the sub valve 107. Furthermore, the diameter of said projecting shaft 114 is reduced in step toward the tip. With such structure, main and sub valves can be opened lightly and forcibly at all times.
