PURPOSE:To surely prevent the corrosion of a wire for a long period and to prevent the breaking by winding zinc foil as a sacrificial anode around part of the wire for fixing an outdoor apparatus. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive 2 is partially stuck to the rear side of beltlike zinc foil 1 and the foil 1 is wound around an iron or stainless steel wire 3. The foil 1 is fixed on the wire 3 with the adhesive 2 so as to form joining faces 4. An apparatus is fixed at the exterior of a house with the wire 3 having the wound foil 1. A contact potential difference is produced between the zinc foil 1 as a sacrificial anode and the wire 3, so oxidation takes place on the foil 1 having higher potential and reduction takes place on the wire 3 having lower potential. Since the reduction prevents the formation of rust on the wire 3 by oxidation, the corrosion of the wire 3 is prevented. |
