PURPOSE:To facilitate assembly of a stator in a motor having the stator of three-foot form, by a method wherein a contact surface between a stator core and a foot member is formed in concentric circular arc. CONSTITUTION:A stator core 1 is composed of magnetic poles 3, 4, 5 and foot members 9, 10, 11 connected thereto, and a core 2 is press fitted to other side of a foot member. A hole 14 is for inserting of a guide pin used in press fitting of the core 2. Contact portions 16, 17, 18 between the core 2 and the foot members 9, 10, 11 are formed by concentric circular arcs of radiuses R and r about one point O on the center foot 10. In this constitution, shifting during press fitting of the core 2 is produced only at rotational direction about the point O. Consequently the press fitting is performed easily by taking care of this shifting only. Also the press fitting is possible at slight shifting of the core 2 about the center point O, and even if the press fitting is performed in this state, contact state in the contact portions 16, 17, 18 is always constant and performance of the motor is not deteriorated.
