Manual drawing appliance for copying, enlarging or reducing any artistic image on drawing paper or canvas. It consists of two parts, the first of which comprises: A support 5 and 6 that can be held in an inclined position by virtue of a foot 8 pivoting at 9 and fixed to the back of the support at 7; the user lays the master on this support and covers it with a transparent plate 2 marked with a grid and surrounded by a frame 1. The second part comprises a support 20 receiving the drawing paper or canvas which the user surrounds with a frame 11 to which the elastic threads 17 are fixed, forming a grid that may be adjusted by being passed through a slot 15 on a retaining bar 14. The invention of this apparatus relates particularly to elastic grids. The appliance according to the invention is particularly aimed at amateurs of drawing for the manual reproduction of a master. <IMAGE>
