The pick clamping and cutting installations each incorporates a pick end suction pipe, the wall of which incorporates a clamping groove to accommodate a pick clamping lever. The groove extends from the entry point of the pick as far as the cutting point. The clamping lever is connected to a pick and shear blade, which operates in conjunction with a counter blade located on the suction pipe. The suction pipe features a pick end suction gap extending over its whole length, while a spring is located on each suction pipe on the weaving rotor side of the clamping groove. |
