PURPOSE:To attain a system having a general purpose constitution in which a function can easily be extended by setting respective program modules to a page constitution. CONSTITUTION:Same address spaces are assigned to respective program modules in a memory device 3, whereby the address spaces in respective program modules are written in terms of the page constitution. A microprocessor 1 operates plural program modules time divisionly by controlling a page switching circuit 2 so that it switches the page written in the memory device 3. Thus, the address space is easily extended, which is advantageous for developing the program of the microprocessor, and the program module accompanied with the extension of the function can easily be increased. Therefore the system having a general purpose constitution can be attained.
