Process for sealing tube-like packages, in particular sausage skins, by U-shaped closure clamps (2) which are held together in a row to form a bar (4), taken from this bar in a closure unit one after the other and then, undergoing plastic deformation, bent around the tube-like package which is constricted at the appropriate closure points. It is envisaged that by means of a first feed force, the clamping pins are taken from a store, where they are arranged parallel to one another alternating from a first position to a second position turned through 180 DEG in relation to the first position, to a turning unit (30), where in the case of the first position they are fed through and in the case of the second position they are turned through 180 DEG , after which in both cases they are conveyed by a second feed force to the closure unit. |
