PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of convection within an outer box and thermal radiation at the rear of a collecting plate and the bottom of the outer box, to decrease outflow of heat energy, and to improve collecting efficiency, by a method wherein a space part in the closed outer box is sealed with inactive gas, and the rear of the heating plate and the bottom of the outer box, positioned facing the rear of the collecting plate, are formed by a material having low emmissivity. CONSTITUTION:The interior of an outer box 2 is partitioned into upper and lower space parts 15 and 16. The space parts are respectively sealed with inactive gas 13, being more difficult in convection than air and having low thermal conductivity. The portion, extending in downward direction from the back, of a collecting plate 3 and the bottom of the outer box 2 are formed by a material 18 having low emmissivity. Thus, convection within the outer box 2 is prevented from occurring, and radiation of heat from the back of the collecting plate 3 and the bottom of the outer box 2 is prevented from occurring. This constitution decreases outflow of heat energy to the outside, and enables improvement of collecting efficiency through the reduction of a heat loss.
