PURPOSE:To simplify a program and to eliminate errors by executing the automatic nose R correction according to a move command. CONSTITUTION:A nose R correction controller for NC machining tools is constituted of a CPU 1, an I/O means 2, a position control and drive means 3, a storage means 4 which consists of memories 41-44 and stores NC machining programs and the like, a register means 5, a branch means 6 deciding whether the nose R correction is set up or canceled, a direction discrimination means 7 discriminating the direction of correcting the nose R, and a coordinate arithmetic means 8. In the control part of the NC machining tool, tool file are stored in the memory 42, and features of the tool are indexed by the file. Among many items, groove width, nose R and the tip point of a blade are used for the nose R correction. If data on moving values held at the final stage of the register means 5 passes through the set-up side of the branch means 6 while it is led to the coordinate arithmetic means 8, the nose R correction is added, and the final coordinates in each movement can be calculated.
