PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide simple methods and instruments for measuring, in a short period of time, the solubility and amount of dissolution of a fluid in a super critical state with respect to a liquid organic compound. SOLUTION: (1) A method and its instrument are provided for measuring the solubility of a fluid with respect to a liquid organic compound, characterized by including a stage for supplying a pressurized fluid into a container with the liquid organic compound stored therein, a stage for bringing the fluid into a super critical state, a stage for giving vibration to the container, and a stage for measuring the temperature and pressure of the container and a change in weight of the container after the liquid organic compound has sorbed the fluid. (2) A method and its instrument are provided for measuring the amount of dissolution of a fluid, characterized by including a stage for supplying a pressurized fluid into a container with the liquid organic compound stored therein, a stage for bringing the fluid into a super critical state, a stage for lowering the pressure of the container to separate/acquire the organic compound having sorbed the fluid, and a stage for separating the fluid sorbed by the organic compound to measure the amount of sorption.
