PURPOSE:To enable the operation of each zone to proceed in parallel by dividing the unit operation of vacuum impregnating operation into zones corresponding to the number of centrifugal separators to proceed the impregnating operation by a zone in response to the rotation of the centrifugal separator. CONSTITUTION:After an article 8 to be impregnated is received from a conveyer 16 into a first zone I to be fixed to a centrifugal gauge 6 of a centrifugal separator 1A, a vertical type pivot 2 is pivoted. When the article advances to a second zone II, the impregnating operation begins. When a vacuum pump 15 is operated and an impregnating liquid tank 11is evacuated, the interior of a next in said article 8 is also evacuated. And said tank 11 is released from the vacuum after a certain time. After the impregnating liquid is forced into the interior of next, a pivot 2 is pivoted to advance said article to a third zone II. Here, after superfluous impregnating liquid is shaken off by a centrifugal separator 1C, said impregnated article 8 is advanced to a fourth zone IV to be rinsed. Further, a centrifugal separator 1E is rotated in a fifth zone V to shape off attached washing water and complete the impregnating operation.
