PURPOSE:To enable small-diameter test-pieces to be used by clamping two test-pieces by a couple of driving rollers which are equal in diameter to or larger than the test-piece. CONSTITUTION:Driving disks 10a-10c on an upper-stage side and driving disks 10d-10f on a lower-stage side rotate at the same rotational speed in the mutually opposite direction between the upper-stage and lower-stage sides as shown by arrows to rotate driving rollers 20a and 20b clamped by the disks 10a-10c on the upper-stage side and the test-piece 30a clamped by them. Further, driving rollers 20c and 20d clamped by the disks 10d-10f on the lower-stage side and a test-piece 30b clamped by them are rotated in the opposite direction from the upper-stage side. When the disks 10a-10c and disks 10d-10f are equalized in rotational speed, the test-pieces 30a and 30b come into simple rolling motion and no rolling frictional force is generated. When they are rotated at different rotational speeds, on the other hand, the test-pieces 30a and 30b rotate at different peripheral speeds and a rolling slide frictional force is generated between the test-pieces 30a and 30b.
