PURPOSE:To improve the supercharging effect to an engine by providing, in an intake air passage, a supercharger and an intake air exciting device for vibrating by means of a partition the intake air by the use of the pulsation of an exhaust pressure, and then obtaining a synergism of the pulsation effect of respective intake air resulted from the two devices. CONSTITUTION:The upstream position from a blower 52 in a turbo-supercharger 50 within an intake air passage 11 and the upstream position from a turbine 51 in the same turbo-supercharger 50 within an exhaust air passage 12 are interconnected by means of a pressure conduit tube 15, and then, within the pressure conduit tube 15 is provided an intake air exciting device 40. Hereupon, in the intake air exciting device 40 is provided a positive displacement part 41, and at the same time, in the positive displacement part 41 is provided a partition 42, which is supported with a spring 44, so that the inside of the positive displacement part 41 is partitioned into an intake air chamber 45 which is connected to the intake air passage 11 side and an exhaust air chamber 46 which is connected to the exhaust air passage 12 side. In addition, the partition 42 is caused to vibrate by the use of the pressure pulsation of the exhaust air so that the intake air is excited. Hereby, a high-level supercharging effect is obtained from utilizing the synergism of the pulsation effect of respective intake air by virtue of the intake air exciting device 40 and the turbo-supercharger 50.
