MANUFACTURE OF POLYPROPYLENE MOLDED FORM APPLIED WITH PRINTING

PURPOSE:To enable formation of a good printing layer, by containing a specific component into a polypropylene molded form and ink while furthermore utilizing a photo-setting offset printing. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a polypropylene mold is activated and then a pattern, a symbol or a character is applied by a photo-setting offset print ink onto said activated surface, thereafter light is irradiated onto said ink layer so as to harden the print ink layer. Then a protection layer is formed through surface treatment. The offset print ink to be employed is a photosetting ink containing a blended material of polyol acrylate and polyester. The polypropylene mold is molded of resin containing crystal polypropylene, ethylene system copolymer and monoglyceride system anti-electrostatic agent having the surface applied with activation. An overprint varnish being employed for formation of the protection layer has the composition similar to that of a normal photosetting offset ink. Consequently, the contact-tightness of ink to the surface of the polypropylene molded form can be improved.
