<p>PURPOSE:To save the memory capacity by minimizing the waste of memory bits of a storage table while securing high arithmetic accuracy. CONSTITUTION:A storage means 2 can use a ROM that uses 8 bits (1 byte) as a memory unit with an address given to each byte or another ROM which contains an external flexible disk device, etc. A lood-up means 3 can use an arithmetic processor A (consisting of a CPU and a ROM storing instructions) which contains a function to reads variable, for example, to calculate the address of the memory unit within the means 2 according to said variable, gives an access to the memory unit of the means 2 in response to said calculated address and reads out the storage contents of the means 2. Then an arithmetic means 4 can use an arithmetic processor B (consisting of a CPU and a ROM) which receives the data read out by the means 3 and performs an operation by a prescribed procedure.</p> |
