PURPOSE:To eliminate dripping of ink, stain as well as malfunction and dust collection attributable to ink by passing ink through a nozzle hole perforated in a printing wire and arranging a piston with a valve mechanism at the open end of the nozzle hole. CONSTITUTION:Unless a piston 5 is in an impact condition, it is normally pressed against a stopper seal 6 at the open end of a nozzle hole 4 in a printing wire 1 with the help of a pressure spring 7. For this reason, ink does not flow out of the open end of the nozzle hole 4. If the piston is brought in an impact state, the printing wire 1 moves forward through the guide hole 8a of a guide 8. If the piston 5 hits a printing medium 9, the piston 5 is kept in such a state and the printing wire 1 further moves forward. Consequently, the interior of an ink tank 10 is pressurized, reducing the pressure in a part ahead of the piston 5. Thus the ink 3 is ejected from the open end, printing the printing medium 9 with the printing wire 1 and the piston 5. |
