<p>Safety ski binding with a sole plate which can pivot around a vertical axis but not be removed, said sole plate carrying at its rear end a heel retainer and at its front end a front clamp with a sole retainer which can be pivoted around a transverse axis. The front clamp has a control element with which is associated a control cam of the guide plate. When the pivoting angle of the sole axis attains a preset value in relation to the longitudinal direction of the ski, the control cam allows the sole retainer to pivot so as to release the ski-boot. According to the invention, the sole plate (5) is designed at its front end region as a bearing block (5c) which carries at least one transverse pin (11) to which are mounted, in addition to the sole retainer (6), also the control element (7) and a ratched lever (14). In addition, according to the invention, the front region of the bearing block (5c) is designed as a projection (5f) which engages in a guide slot (4b) of the guide plate (4) mounted longitudinally slidable on a base plate (3).</p> |
