PURPOSE:To perform a data transfer with superior efficiency fitted for the receiving capability of a reception side, by providing a delay means on which a prescribed time interval between one frame sent after removing the busy state of the reception side, and the next one frame, is provided. CONSTITUTION:In the titled equipment, a state control module 1 which performs an HDLC procedure according to a state transition table, a reception module 2 which receives a frame from a line, and performs the analysis of the frame, a transmission module 3 which transmits a line frame, and a timer control module 4 which performs the control of a timer. The module 4 has a delaying function to provide the prescribed time interval between the one frame sent after the removal of the busy state of the reception side, and the next one frame, at the time of informing the generation of the busy state by the reception side while sending the one frame.
