PURPOSE:To display plural operating states just with a single display element by using a blink pattern production means and a blinking display means. CONSTITUTION:When a start button is pushed, the initialization is carried out after the count data N1 which produces a blink pattern of an initialization executing mode is stored in a counter 11. At the same time, a display element 13 blinks in response to the blink pattern showing the initialization. Then the count data N2 is stored in the counter 11 and the element 13 turns on and off a blink pattern showing a waiting state. Then the count data N3 is stored in the counter 11 and the element 13 blinks simultaneously with a reading action out of an auxiliary memory device and based on the blink pattern showing the reading state out of the auxiliary device. Then the data N2 is stored in the counter 11 and the element 13 blinks based on the blink pattern showing the waiting state.
