<p>A vessel for containing surgical waste comprising an upper container part (10), a lower container part (12), a locking pin (14), a strap (16), and a sliding door (18). The upper container part and the lower container part are supplied to the user separately and include a joining arrangement which unreleasably locks and seals the two parts together. The upper container part includes an access opening (20) which is covered by the door (18). The door can be unreleasably closed by inserting the locking pin (14) into a locking pin hole (24) when the door (18) is closed.</p> |
