PURPOSE:To permit adhering, painting, printing, etc., of hardly adherent materials such as non-polar or highly crystallized resin by using a primer contg. a specifically composed silane compd. and compd. having an active hydrogen group. CONSTITUTION:The silane compd. contg. >=1 (CnH2n+1)O group (n is 1-6 integer) (e.g., aminomethyl trimethoxysilane) and the compd. contg. the active hydrogen group (e.g., mercaptan, amine) are incorporated into the primer. The silane compd. except the silane compd. having the mercaptan is used as a first component if the mercaptan is going to be used, and the silane compd. except the silane compd. having an amino group is used if the amine is going to be used. The adhering, painting, printing, etc., of the hardly adherent materials such as non-polar or highly crystallized resins are permitted by using the primer having the above-mentioned compsn. The adhesive strength, curing speed. and the resistance to water and heat are remarkably improved in such a case.
