PURPOSE:To execute the end edge processing of a wire gauze with high efficiency, and to reduce the cost of construction, by providing projectingly a claw in the upward inclined direction in the inside from both side walls of a U-shaped drum edge, and detaining a wire gauze end edge tension wire which has been inserted through a drum edge gap so that it does not fall off. CONSTITUTION:A claw 3 is provided projectingly in the upwardly inclined direction from a horizontal edge 4 of both side walls 2 of a U-shaped drum edge 1. In that case, as for the projectingly provided claw 3, an opposed type, a zigzag type, or an alternately bitten type, etc., are adopted. An end edge tension wire of a wire gauze which has been inserted through a gap of the drum edge 1 is detained so that it does not fall off, by which an end edge processing of the wire gauze can be easily executed with high efficiency, and the cost of construction for a work is reduced.
