ENERGY DELIVERY SYSTEM FOR A GAS TRANSPORT VESSEL

A system (200) for delivering vapor phase fluid at an elevated pressure from a transport vessel (210, 220) containing liquefied or two-phase fluid is provided. The system (200) includes: (a) a transport vessel (210, 220) positioned in a substantially horizontal position,- (b) one or more energy delivery elements (420) disposed on the lower portion of the transport vessel (210, 220) wherein the energy delivery devices include a heating means and a first insulation means, wherein the energy delivery devices are configured to the contour of the transport vessel (210, 220); (c) one or more substantially rigid support devices (410) disposed on the outer periphery of the energy delivery devices, wherein the support devices (410) hold the energy delivery devices (420) in thermal contact with a lower portion of the transport vessel (210, 220); and (d) one or more attaching devices secure the rigid support devices (410) onto the transport vessel (210, 220) and hold the energy delivery devices (420) between the substantially rigid support device (410) and a wall of the transport vessel (210, 220).
