PURPOSE:To prevent moisture absorption and to eliminate a decrease in elastic modulus by supporting a magnetic field producing body rotatably in a nonmagnetic sleeve which is sealed completely. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic field producing body 5 is supported rotatably in the completely sealed nonmagnetic sleeve 4. The nonmagnetic sleeve 4 is arranged nearby a cylindrical latent image carrier 1 and a magnet roll 5 as the magnetic field producing body is arranged concentrically in the internal space of the nonmagnetic sleeve 4 the nonmagnetic sleeve 4 and magnet roll 5 rotate relatively and the nonmagnetic sleeve 4 rotates. A magnetic blade 3 is provided right above the nonmagnetic sleeve 4 as a developer control member which has its front edge held at a constant interval with the nonmagnetic sleeve 4. Consequently, the magnetic field producing body absorbs no moisture even at high humidity and a developing device which is small in deflection and causes no trouble of images is obtained. |
