<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the printing grade of an optical printer and to reduce manufacturing cost, by changing the optical characteristic of an electrooptical shutter in synchronous timing with the light emitting drive signal of a light emitting part. CONSTITUTION:The display signal synchronous to the scanning of an anode 29 is applied to a liquid crystal shutter 36 and the optical characteristic of said shutter 36 is changed to block or transmit the lights from light emitting dots set to an accurate dimension, accurate inclination and an accurate interval and the surface of a photosensitive drum is irradiated selectively. When light emitting driving and the revolution of the photosensitive drum mentioned above are preliminarily synchronized in a light source 24 for a printer, a continuous linear latent image parallel to the revolving shaft of the photosensitive drum can be formed on the surface of said drum. Therefore, when this light source 24 for the printer is used, the printing grade of the optical printer can be enhanced.</p> |
