摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the discoloration and rust formation of a rare earth ferrous magnet consisting of a sintered alloy without deteriorating magnetic characteristics by penetrating a liquid sealing agent into the gap parts among the crystal grains of said magnet and curing the same, then forming an org. film layer on the surface. CONSTITUTION:The rare earth ferrous sintered alloy magnet such as Nd-B-Fe magnet consisting of 8-30%, in atomic fraction, at least one kind of rare earth elements including Y, 2-28%B and the balance Fe is sintered and the sintered alloy magnet has, therefore, many fine pores and gaps. An anaerobic adhesive agent having 10cp viscosity is penetrated as the liquid sealing agent into such gaps and is cured; thereafter the org. Film layer consisting of a polyparaxylene is formed to 5 micron thickness on the magnet surface by a vacuum deposition method, etc. The excellent corrosion resistance is provided to the magnet and the rust formation and discoloration of the magnet are prevented by such surface treatment.
