PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition having adhesiveness sufficient to withstand a water-soluble flux and excellent heat resistance, mechanical properties and chemical properties, by adding a photopolymerizable monomer and a photoinitiator to a specified base polymer. CONSTITUTION:A maleic anhydride/unsaturated hydrocarbon compound copolymer (a) of a composition ratio of the maleic anhydride to the unsaturated hydrocarbon compound (e.g., styrene) of 1:1 and a number-average MW of 1.0X10<4>-2.0X10<6> is reacted with a hydroxyl group-containing saturated compound (b) (e.g., methanol) and a hydroxyalkylene (meth)acrylate at 70-140 deg.C for 4-12hr to obtain a base polymer (A) comprising a modified maleic acid copolymer in which the opening rate of the acid anhydride rings of the maleic anhydride structural units is 35% or above and the rate of addition of (meth) acryloyl groups to the acid anhydride rings, represented by the formula, is 1% or above. 100pts.wt. component A is mixed with 5-500pts.wt. photopolymerizable monomer (B) [e.g., 2-hydroxylethyl (meth)acrylate] and 1-50pts.wt. photoinitiator (C) (e.g. benzoin). |
