PURPOSE:To rapidly and accurately measure the stop position of a controlled system by immediately stopping a distribution allowance signal inputted to a distributor for distributing pulses at the time of turning on an external input signal to read out the moving residual of the distributor. CONSTITUTION:A distribution stopper 7 outputs a distribution allowance signal (c) to the distributor 2 based on an distribution allowance signal (b) from a control part 1 and an external input signal (a) to control the distribution of pulses. Since the controlled system is not reached a command position at the time of OFF of the signal (a), the signal (c) is kept at ON, but when the signal is turned on, the stopper 7 immediately turns off the signal (c). A stop position detector 8 reads out a moving residual from the distributor 2 stopped at its distribution and subtracts the moving residual from the coordinates of an end point to calculate the stop position. Thereby, the dispersion of the stop position can be removed and the stop position can be rapidly measured with high accuracy.
