<p>PURPOSE:To manufacture a cut-to-specified-length laminate for electrical use by employing metal foils with external dimensions smaller than the specified lengths by a method wherein, the metal foils, the area of each of which is smaller than the area of a prepreg, are used under the state that the amount of lap between the metal foils is set to the specified dimension or less. CONSTITUTION:In the manufacture of a metal foil-clad laminated sheet produced by laminate-molding a laminate, in which metal foils are arranged onto the top surface and/or undersurface of the required number of prepreg, the metal foils, the area of each of which is smaller than the area of the prepreg, are used under the state that the amount of lap between the metal foils is set to 3mm or less. In case of the amount of lap exceeding 3mm, the pressure at high pressure multi-stage pressing can not be made uniform, resulting in developing defective laminate molding. On the contrary, in case that the metal foils do not be lapped over each other, the resin oozing out of prepreg during laminate molding stains the surface of the metal foil and molding plates. Consequently, the lapping space between the metal foils is necessary.</p> |
