PURPOSE:To move a rear group lens by a simple constitution, and to execute manual and auto focusing irrespective of a zooming operation, by executing an arithmetic processing by switching a distance display, a focus mode, etc., based on a photographing distance setting operation. CONSTITUTION:When an operation ring is turned, a set photographing distance is displayed on a distance display device 27 by a distance scale sensor 13, a microcomputer 18 of a control circuit 11, etc. On the other hand, in accordance with a set focal distance, a zoom lens is electrically-driven and moved through a lens control part 19. An arithmetic part 28 controls a movement of a rear group lens by a stepping motor 8 by referring to a corresponding characteristic curve of a storage part 30 corresponding to information from the sensor 13 and the control part 19, and even after the zoom operation, manual and auto focusing is executed. Also, when the photographing distance is set above the infinity, a mode switching signal is supplied from the sensor 13, a display of the device 27 is erased through the arithmetic part 28 and the rear group lens is vibrated and moved at a higher speed than that of the zoom lens by the motor 8, and auto focusing is executed. |
