PURPOSE:To perform the formation of compressed air in an economic manner, by setting up a structure, having a space where the inside air is compressed by increase and decrease of seawater due to high and low tides, in the sea, and rotating an air compressor in using a flow of the air inside the space. CONSTITUTION:A structure 4 is set up in the sea, and a suction port 6 and an exhaust port 5 are installed therein as being interconnected to an airtight chamber in this structure. And, a water port 12 is formed in a lower part of the structure 4, and a seawater level in the structure 4 is varied in conformity with this seawater level varying according to high and low tides through this water port 12, whereby air is fed or exhausted to or from the inside of the airtight chamber 11 by a variation in this seawater level. And, each moving vane 9 installed in the suction port 6 and the exhaust port 5 is rotated in use of a flow of air by feed and exhaust operations of the air to the inside of the airtight chamber 11, while the compressor installed in a turning shaft of the moving vane 9 is driven, and the compressed air produced is stored in a high pressure tank 7.
