PURPOSE:To enhance accuracy of positioning while using a simple mechanism, by moving a movable member on a guide shaft by driving a rotary-type motor so fixed as to have a rotary shaft in a direction orthogonal to the moving direction of the movable member. CONSTITUTION:A gear 4 is coupled directly to a shaft 3 of a rotary-type motor 2 fixed to a movable member 1. When the gear 4 is rotated by a driving current supplied through a motor winding terminal 9, the gear 4 is linearly moved on a linear guide shaft 5 provided with grooves 6. Since the guide shaft 5 and a support shaft 7 are fixed on a frame 10, the movable member 1 is horizontally moved on the guide shaft 5. The movable member 1 is fixed to a slide shaft 8, which is slidden on the support shaft 7, whereby the movable member 1 is moved while being stably supported.
